The Sam Quaicoe Library is the main library of the African University College of Communications located on the ground floor of the AUCC campus main building.The library's collections include almost ten thousand books (print and electronic), CD's, tapes and impressive holdings of rare books, prints and archives. The library is also preparing to offer access to extensive E-resources.The Library is the nerve centre for academic work in the University College. All academic-related functions such as teaching, research and learning find their support-base in the library where documents are organised for easy access to members of the University community.
Services
The library renders user education and orientation to students on how to access materials and relevant information for their studies and research. Special training programmes are also to be organised for students on how to access information in electronic format, such as the CD-ROM, the internet and other on-line databases. This is to impart literature search skills to students and also to create awareness of such services in the library.

Currently, the Sam Quaicoe Library has following the departments indicated below
Acquisitions and Cataloguing department:This department receives, processes and catalogues all library materials. Reference department:The Reference department is the first place of call for the user/reader. It houses the Public Catalogue and reference desk. The Reference section also houses the library's special collections. IT and Periodicals department:This department offers technical support in the use of Information Technology (IT). This department receives and manages the Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC), all manual and online databases, journal and periodical subscriptions. Library Collections

Print materials consisting of volumes covering all aspects of knowledge with much emphasis on Business Administration and Communication Studies related courses.

 Library Catalogue
The library has an Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) which serves as a key to its collection. The library uses the KOHA software which is installed and managed by the library. The library materials could be accesed through the OPAC via the university´s intranet on the web address: http://192.168.1.97/ Non-print materials consisting of CD’s, tapes, etc.

- Monday to Friday: 08:30 hrs - 20:00 hrs
- Saturdays: 08:30 hrs - 17:00 hrs
