The African University College of Communications   (AUCC) is to introduce a faculty to train   journalists on environmental issues and matters related to climatic change.

This was disclosed by the President of AUCC Mr. Kojo Yankah, at the launch of Biodegradable Products to Africa by Africa2green Ghana, a private enterprise established to create awareness on the need for Africans to use biodegradable products as well as to facilitate the introduction of these products to the African environment.

The launch was organized in collaboration with The Institute of Green Research and Communications, (IGRC) of AUCC and Return2Green International, a biotechnology company in the U.S.A which believes strongly that the environment must not be compromised in the course of living our daily lives.

Mr. Yankah stated that there was the need   for the constant education and training of journalists on environmental management in order to enable them to disseminate the information to the general public.
