The Dean of Journalism and Communications of AUCC, Prof. Absalom Mutere, expressed gratitude to GCGL for sponsoring the printing of the “The Baobab Post”. He stated that the training newspaper was meant to provide prospective media organizations and the general public with a platform for judging the legitimacy of the AUCC’s communications training programme. He also expressed the hope that the unique relationship between AUCC and GCGL (Ghana’s leading print media house) would mature into a symbiotic relationship that would enable the University to make its curricula more relevant to industry and also provide GCGL with quality journalists.
