The African University College of Communications (AUCC) has refurbished its building hosting administrative offices, faculty and classrooms as part of its strategic plans to transform the university college into a more competitive tertiary institution in Ghana. On account of its significant recognition as one of Ghana’s best private universities and a centre of Excellence in Communication Studies in Africa by UNESCO, the school has outgrown its identity, hence the need to add up to its quality to renovate its building. Again, to improve its looks, to reflect its new direction.

As part of efforts to position itself as one of the favourite destinations for prospective students in the midst of Covid-19 pandemic, the college has organized virtual training workshop for faculty members on how to conduct pre-recorded audio-visual lectures to enhance online teaching and learning among other reasons.

Sharing his excitement about AUCC’s new look, the Business Development Manager, Mr. Samuel Ogyiri Sackey revealed that over 45 Professional Certificate Short Courses have also been introduced for workers who have the desire to upgrade. He said “AUCC is changing, and change is good. Be looking around to see the change, you can also feel it. The brand AUCC is what you will be proud to associate yourself with. Be part of the change, and be part of AUCC”.

AUCC is currently admitting new students for the 2020/2021 academic year.
