In pursuance of the President of Ghana's directive to close down all universities until further notice, the Management of the African University College of Communications (AUCC) has in the meantime decided on the following teaching and learning guidelines for faculty and students:

  • All face-to-face lectures, gatherings, student activities etc., remain suspended until further notice.
  • In the meantime, the University College will adopt virtual teaching and learning methods to engage students.
  • Lecture notes and other academic resources will be made available to students via emails, WhatsApp and other interactive platforms.
  • Assignments and quizzes will be given to students via email, WhatsApp and other electronic platforms and submission required through the same platforms or at the School's secretariat on campus for assessment as may be determined by faculty.
  • Final year students are admonished to use this period to work on their long essays/project work and interact with their various supervisors electronically or through other professional means as may be determined by supervisors. · Students are encouraged to make efforts to fulfil their fee obligations to the University College.

Please be reminded that the University's administration continues to operate during this period and will issue further directives and guidelines when the need arises.

We encourage all to remain calm and abide by the directives from the University and Government concerning measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
